The Combe du Lac, 4 villages to (re)discover the mountains
The Combe du Lac of Lamoura is the entrance to the 4 villages resort, which brings together Les Rousses, Bois-d’Amont, Prémanon and Lamoura.
A protected site
A nature site protected by a Natura 2000 listing, the Combe du Lac is ideally located in the Jura Mountains. Many guest houses located in the heart of the Combe welcome holiday makers so they may get the most out of the villages of the Combe.
To be discovered in summer…
The Combe is the ideal place to relax and discover the wildlife, the vegetation and the landscape of the Jura. A hike on foot or mountain bike, swimming in the lake of Lamoura, a visit to the Maison du Parc in Lajoux, the museum of La Boissellerie in Bois d’Amont, the Fort des Rousses or the Espace des mondes Polaires in Premanon. There is something for everyone in the Combe du Lac.
….or in winter
Cross-country skiing, downhill skiing, snowshoeing, ski joring, sledging, etc. – so many activities to delight children and adults. There’s no need to be an expert, it is possible to make a start with each one. The Combe du Lac is also the starting point of the Transjurassienne, a cross-country ski race known throughout the world, which crosses the forest of the Massacre to join the north of the Jura Mountains.
