Compagnie Amateure Mi-Scène
They are workers, or perhaps just employees. They are young girls, they are mothers, they are women who have not seen themselves grow old, who have not seen life go by. Since they obtained their CAP, they have been making dreams come true for other women, elsewhere. For the mysterious and distant customers of luxury boutiques. Today, in a village hall, over a salad with vinaigrette, they recall with humour their struggles and a moment when, together, they fought to assert their dignity. This text, by Carole Thibaut, is the result of a collection of testimonies from former workers in various lingerie workshops, the women who became known as "the Lejabys".
