The history of the town and its left bank districts can be read by following the course of the Doubs.
Disused for nearly 20 years, the Grévy Way extends from Dole station to Mont-Sous-Vaudrey. It has been transformed into a greenway.
It was installed in the 19th century in the industrial district of La Bedugue in Dole. It is an export point for Dole products on the national and international markets. It also serves as a technical stop for the special train of President Grévy: indeed, a presidential train ran every Friday and Sunday evening.
Wearing a helmet and a yellow waistcoat is compulsory
