In popular belief, thunderstorms are often associated with phenomena more powerful than man. An unleashing of the heavens against which there is seemingly nothing we can do. But to protect himself, rapper Bekar has decided to do things differently: confront his fears and his pain, to better weather the storm. Since he was very young, this 25-year-old artist from Roubaix has navigated between his passion for music and a life marked by turbulence. Brought up in a family with sometimes complex relationships, but driven by a constant desire to prove his true worth, it was now time for Bekar to turn a corner. And that step was taken with Plus fort que l'orage, a debut album that tells the story of the bittersweet daily life that the young rapper from Lille has navigated for the past 25 years.
