Disintegration
Theatre - From 16 years - 1 H 20
El Ajouad Company
A voice is trying to be heard. The voice of a generation that we call "of immigrant origin". This voice sifts through everything that has shaped it, everything that has generated this tug-of-war, this revolt. As Ahmed Djouder says: "I had to write this text, Désintégration, to untie my inner knots and learn to love my Algerian roots, which were nothing to be ashamed of. This reconciliation enabled me to say without blushing that I was also French. I wasn't betraying anything or anyone. This love could only have been born when I also saw all the ignorance, obscurantism, archaism and resignation of the Arabs. As for my love for France, it was only possible to reveal itself because of this lucid work around the lies, hypocrisy and discrimination with which it was woven". A text of unprecedented force, poetic and committed, often funny, sometimes cruel, but always tender.
