Sparks of life" exhibition

In conjunction with Ornans Rose, Le Labo-Telier is exhibiting drawings by Valérie Gérard.

Valérie passed away last February. In 2014, she drew portraits of women like herself suffering from breast cancer.
In her fight against the disease: More than a project, a life objective.

"A way of changing the way we look at the disease"
"I want to show that despite the disease we are women like any others and that this ordeal makes us stronger."

In her honour, an exhibition of her pastel drawings will open on Sunday 8 October at the Salle des Iles Basses on Place Courbet in Ornans, and will be on view every Sunday in October and on 5 November at the Labo-Telier from 10am to 6pm.
