Is diversity an adjustment variable?

Under the patronage of the Ministère de la Culture, de la Francophonie et de la Diversité, three playwrights - Amine Adjina, Gustave Akakpo and Métie Navajo - have been invited to present a conference entitled La diversité est-elle une variable d'ajustement pour un nouveau langage théâtral non genré multiple et unitaire? As part of their participatory approach, they have already submitted a questionnaire to the audience. During the conference, a representative of diversity will be elected, charged with putting in place the tools to transform the French cultural landscape. But the three candidates end up questioning the very principle of competition-selection at the heart of the democratic approach adopted by the majority. As for diversity, isn't the word often a trap? How can we find a way out of it without giving up on giving everyone a real place?
