Throughout the month of October and early November, every Saturday afternoon, the Bugey Sud Grand Colombier Tourist Office offers you the visit of local farms. The opportunity to discover unique know-how! At an altitude of 285 m, in the Bugey wine region, Guillaume, Pierre-Yves and Cie will make you discover their profession of arborist and winemaker The farm covers 16 hectares which are distributed as follows: > 10 ha of orchards (apple, pear and various fruits). A hundred tons of organic fruit are produced on the farm per year, part of which is intended for the manufacture of fruit juices, compotes and sorbets (small fruits). > 9.70 ha of AOC Bugey vines > 1 ha of small fruits (strawberries, raspberries, blackcurrants ...) for the manufacture of sorbets. It is the fruit harvest that dictates the production of sorbets. A wide range of tastes is available: Apple, pear, strawberry, raspberry, blackcurrant, melon, peach, cherry and cherry-cherry, blackberry and "fruit of the orchard" (apple, currant, cherry). The sorbets are 100% natural, made only from fruit (70%) and organic sugar!
