Les Pieds dans le Local® ! Visite d'exploitation : Les Gaetannies

Every Saturday afternoon throughout October and early November, the Bugey Sud Grand Colombier Tourist Office invites you to visit local farms. This is your chance to discover some unique skills! At the Gaétannies farm, situated at 970m on the Plateau de Retord, Annie doesn't thatch, her days are organised between picking, drying and selling! She makes and sells jams, coulis, delicacies, jellies, syrups, honey and herbal teas, all made from the farm's own fruit and aromatic and medicinal plants. The fruit and plants are hand-picked and processed on the farm, using no chemicals. Annie will welcome you to her shop, show you around her production and drying facilities and, weather permitting, accompany you to one of her production plots a stone's throw from her shop.
