Les Pieds dans le Local® ! Visite d'exploitation : Maison Angelot

Every Saturday afternoon throughout October and early November, the Bugey Sud Grand Colombier Tourist Office invites you to visit local farms. This is your chance to discover some unique skills! At an altitude of 350 m, in the Bugey wine-growing region, Philippe and Eric will be showing you their trade as wine-growers. The Angelot family, winegrowers from father to son, run a 26-hectare estate. In the 1960s, Maxime Angelot developed the sale of his wines in bottles. Philippe and Éric, his sons, expanded production and dedicated the "Cuvée Maxime" to him in 1997. Their wines, produced on their estate in the Bugey AOC, are marketed entirely by them. Labelled HVE (Haute Valeur Environnementale) for its actions to promote biodiversity, Maison Angelot also complies with the Independent Winegrower charter. A walk through the vines is signposted from the cellar and is accessible all year round.
