The Fédération des Foyers Ruraux and the Comité d'Animation de Bellefontaine invite you to attend the show "JFB, En quête d'humanité" performed by the Pudding Théâtre company.

Christophe Chatelain, director and actor, tells the story of a man whose roots go back to the beginning of the last century in a small Jura village. A singular destiny that rubs shoulders with History. A life that was turned upside down during the Second World War, a troubled period when no decision was insignificant.
How do you tell the story of the grey hues? The things left unsaid? The barbarity?
An artistic attempt in which the spoken word is at the heart of the creative process. This show combines the story of a life - that of J-F.B - of an artist who tells his own story, history with a capital H, social and topical reflections, childhood memories, Jura wine and Comté cheese. While tackling sometimes harsh subjects, this epic of everyday life is above all a quest for humanity: "When you've got nothing left, you've still got humanity".
