La Fanfaloche - chambres d'hôtes
Fanfaloche is the name given in the region to a small plant: The erythronium dens canis. This plant is a harbinger of sunshine and renewal, and the name of the place is a reference to Laurence's grandfather, who liked to make bouquets of it.
Here, the "handmade", the recycling and the recovery of materials are privileged. Mismatched crockery, furniture and decorations are all found, salvaged or even made by the owners, everything speaks of the past, of a certain heritage.
The meals are home-made with seasonal food, mainly local and organic.
Sharing is at the heart of this warm house. We love the charming little garden bordered by a babbling brook, hidden at the back of the house, very Alice in Wonderland with its little English-style garden room. The sound of the water, the view of the mountains, the pretty flowered garden, the place to relax, without a doubt!
