After having inaugurated the Great Cross-Jura walk, it was only a matter of time before the idea was extended to snowshoe walks in the winter.
Summer – Winter: all the magic of a landscape where the colours change constantly, from deep green to endless white, the peaks and the valleys seeming to soften with the snow.
In the winter, there is no path, so you will simply follow the discreet little ribbons that will guide you from village to village, from cottage to cottage.
This is a route that will take you through forests, meadows and villages, where you will receive the warmest of welcomes!
Reception at Chapelle des Bois around 5 p.m.

The stages are around 8 to 12 km/day and the maximum climb in one day is 260 m and the maximum drop in height 252 m. They have been made deliberately rather short so that, whatever the snow cover and your condition, you will be comfortable.
Their length also enables you to stop off for a good lunch break in a refuge for a picnic, or visit the museums in the villages you encounter.
