Domaine Perdrix

Wine production in Bugey has a very long tradition dating back to Gallo-roman times and today in Bugey the Perdrix family keep this tradition going. The Domaine Perdrix specialises in sales to the wine trade as well as private customers and is open for dégustations daily between 16:30 and 19:00 (large groups and busses strictly by appointment). Montagnieu a sparkling first developed by monks during the Middle Ages is on offer at the Domaine Perdrix in addition to the award winning ‘Cuvée Robert Perdrix’ another sparkling wine made exclusively from Chardonnay. There is also lovely fruity white wine available made from a local grape called Altesse and some fantastic Pinot Noir’s for lovers of fine red wine.
