Bike ride between waterfalls, lakes and forests
Spare your efforts on a gentle ride, taking the time to admire the scenery, along a cycle route suitable for E-bikes.
Along the way you'll see a waterfall, a lake, a river, a farm, a peat bog, a forest and pastureland.
Whether it's for 10 or 50 km, an hour or a half day, you're bound to find just the loop itinerary for you in the Grandvaux valley.
Bike rentals are available all year round from professionals who know their region well and are keen to share their recommendations with you.Louer son vélo à la ferme Léonie
Panoramic hiking trail: Pic de l’Aigle and The 4 Lakes panoramic viewpoint
Protected for their beautiful scenery, the Pic de l'Aigle summit and the 4 Lakes panoramic viewpoint are both great places to stop for a meditative break.
You'll love the array of autumn colours visible from this viewpoint, as well as the contours of the Jura mountains. Green conifers and multicoloured leaves exalt the hilly landscape and the rolling terrain of the first plateaux towards the Mounts of Jura - which give pride of place to the Mont Blanc, towering above the Jura arc.NB: The climb is fairly steep, but well worth the effort.
Along the forest path, what a surprise it is when you reach the viewpoints of first the 3 Lakes, then the 4 Lakes. The turquoise lakes of Ilay, Narlay, Petit Maclu and Grand Maclu, bordered by reedbeds, suddenly come into view – and you'll never get tired of the panorama and the everlasting memory this outing leaves you with.
