The site was redeveloped in 2009, offering a picnic area with tables, a petanque court, grassed terraces near the restaurant and a stabilised sandy area with bicycle parking.
The new nautical building is also the starting point for the footpath leading to the remarkable natural site of the lake rock. A 450-metre-long wooden deck has been laid to allow walkers to cross the peat bog in complete tranquillity without damaging the fragile environment. There are also toilets located under the Chalet du lac restaurant, as well as an outdoor shower and water point.
