
Sport Nautique Bisontin - Aviron
A rowing club founded in 1865 in Besançon. Historically dedicated to canoeing, the club quickly evolved towards rowing and became the tenth French club to join the Fédération Française d'Aviron in 1890.
The SNB Aviron offers both recreational and competitive rowing, accessible from the age of 11.
The club regularly organises summer courses for young people aged 11 to 16, supervised by a qualified instructor.
The SNB Aviron also takes part in various competitions and events, such as long-distance championships and inter-company regattas.

Yes, Sport Nautique Bisontin Aviron (SNB Aviron) is open all year round, offering activities adapted to the different seasons. Introductory sessions take place on Saturday mornings from 10am to 12pm, for a fee of €10, which is deductible from the annual registration fee.
The club also offers summer courses for young people aged 11 to 16, supervised by a qualified instructor and running from Monday to Friday from 9am to 12pm. Prices are €90 for a full week and €70 for a 4-day week.
It is important to note that water sports activities may be suspended if the level of the Doubs exceeds 3 metres, for safety reasons.
