The Nans rock

This challenging route takes you through a wilderness of green spaces. The area is relatively unknown.
The inhabitants of "Les Nans" are called "Les Ours". The village, whose Comtois bell tower is well worth a look, is also home to a number of small caves, one of which, in tufa, contains two small bears carved with a chainsaw in 2000 and 2006.

But this "La Roche des Nans" route is not an invitation to discover these caves, but rather a challenge for sports enthusiasts. The ascent to the Roche des Nans is an undeveloped belvedere offering an exceptional view over the Angillon valley, the Gallic word "Nanto" meaning valley.

On this route of almost 30 km, mountain bikers will travel from ridge to ridge, from undergrowth to pastures, discovering the lively Nans valley. A breath of fresh air on your own!
