From Lons-Le-Saunier, one of the two spa towns in the Jura and the prefecture of the Jura department, the Voie Bressane heads towards Chalon-sur-Saone in the neighbouring Saône-et-Loire department. In its first part, from Lons-le-Saunier to Courlaoux, it allows you to reach the "Arc-en-sel" shopping area in Chantrans. It is a dedicated road as far as Courlans, and therefore safe, and its paved surface is ideal for getting out of the town, whatever the activity (including rollerblading and road cycling).
The Voie Bressane continues, alternating between dedicated and shared roads, in the direction of Saône-et-Loire. The route leads through the fields, undergrowth and ponds of the Bresse region before reaching Louhans and its magnificent town centre arcades. From Louhans, the Voie Bressane continues to Chalon-sur-Saône, passing through many small villages: Branges, Montret, Vérissey, Tronchy, Saint-Germain-du-Plain and Epervans, and connects to the entire Burgundy by Bike network.
