This route takes in two villages at the foot of the Serre forest massif: Archelange and Gredisans. Both villages have an interesting heritage, including the St Marcoul d'Archelange fountain, reputed to be miraculous but with a rare geological feature: the water disappears into a fault a few metres after the wash-house, and there are a number of crosses with pattées, including the remarkable Croix Boyon with a niche carved into the stone.
