Vineyards and castles

Lons-le-Saunier is the prefecture of the Jura and one of the two spa towns in the department along with Salins-les-Bains. This itinerary passes through numerous wine-growing villages which are scattered along the hillsides and valleys covered in vines. A variety of landscapes, open views and the cultural heritage of the Revermont are on the menu of the walk, to which can be added a few tastings of local wines, such as at Étoile, one of the 7 AOC wines of the Jura. The route is made up of rolling paths, small roads and technical trails and is accessible to mountain bikers of all levels.
