Leaving from La Praille, the Plateau d'Hauteville Nordic site, set off on a comfortable ride in a sled pulled by 8 Malamute, Greenland and Samoyed dogs.
Alexis, your guide-musher, and his companion Marie, guarantee that you'll be immersed in the heart of nature on a track specially laid out for you, between the combe and the forest. All you have to do is let yourself be lulled by the glide of the sleigh and enjoy the feeling of freedom provided by the fresh breeze and the beauty of the snow-covered landscape.
But before you set off, it's essential to get to know the dogs. Alexis will introduce you to his four-legged companions, explain how a pack works and show you how he drives the team, combining voice guidance and sled handling.
Adults and children alike enjoy the contact with the animal, and the dogs are delighted to be petted.
Alexis and Marie have 11 dogs of the Alaskan Malamute, Greenland and Samoyed breeds, named Lilou, Ixo, Snow, Shadow, Leeroy, Khaly, Aria, Sky, Jack and Narock. The last to join the pack is Togo.
