41st Montée Internationale du Poupet

Organised over the Whitsun weekend, the Montée du Poupet is both a competitive and friendly race! Hundreds of runners set off from Salins-les-Bains to tackle a giant: Mont Poupet. The aim: to reach the summit.

At an altitude of 853m, this giant dominates the Furieuse valley, offering the courageous runners a path of climbs and descents.

Known and recognised as one of the best classic foot races, the race stands out for its competitive yet friendly atmosphere, with bells and clappers accompanying the competitors' efforts. Runners of all levels (experienced and novice) and from all walks of life (several nationalities and many departments represented) will cover 17.5 kilometres with 259 metres of downhill and 666 metres of uphill!
