47th Arts and Crafts Days

On August 1, 2 and 3, Ornans will be hosting a series of arts and crafts days.

Nearly 140 professional craftsmen, painters, sculptors, blacksmiths and potters will be on hand to demonstrate their skills over the weekend!

Take a stroll through the streets, sip a drink at the refreshment stall run by Les Restos du Coeur d'Ornans, enjoy a tasty dish at the food-truck corner, and take in the entertainment and concerts throughout the weekend.

Programme

Friday 1 August (5pm to 10pm)
5pm: opening of the arts and crafts days
5.30-6pm: stage magic, on the move
8pm: words of welcome, Place Courbet
8.30pm-10pm: concert by the group Truelles (rock, chanson réaliste), Place Courbet

Saturday 2 August (10am to 10pm)
11am-1pm: musical entertainment by Sylvain Dupont, accordionist, Place Courbet
1.30pm-2.30pm: concert by Manu K (guitar), Place Courbet
2pm-4pm: Make-up workshop (for children), Place Saint-Vernier
3pm-3.30pm: stage magic, on the move
2.30pm/16pm/17.45pm/19.30pm: Boa Brass Band brass band, on the streets
8-10pm: Concert by Midnight Groove (funk and pop covers), Place Courbet

Sunday 3 August (10am to 6pm)
11am-1.30pm: musical entertainment by Sylvain Dupont, accordionist, Place Courbet
2pm-4pm: Face painting workshop (for children), Place Saint-Vernier
4pm-5pm: stage magic, on the move
12pm/13.45pm/15.30pm/17pm: Boa Brass Band brass band, on the streets

Throughout the weekend:
Games for children - Akiko Parc, inflatable structures
Demonstration - Les marteaux de Mailley, blacksmiths
Entertainment - Joseph Deforet, magician
Demonstration - PSOR, painters and sculptors
Workshop - Little saws (all ages)
