The breathtaking Orchestre d'Harmonie des Chaprais in Besançon is celebrating its 120th anniversary.
In 2025, the Orchestre d'Harmonie des Chaprais de Besançon celebrates its 120th anniversary.
After a special "Carmen" concert in a packed Grand Kursaal in early March, this anniversary season continues with a 2nd highlight on Saturday 5 July in Besançon's Parc Micaud.
This time, our association is bringing together 9 musical groups of different styles (wind bands, banda, batucada, pipe band or big band), all made up of amateur musicians from the three departments of the Franche-Comté region.
For 'A couper le souffle', the concerts will take place on two stages from 12.30 to 10.30 p.m. for a day dedicated to amateur collective practice, an opportunity to promote our associative ensembles in a convivial setting.
The day will conclude with a concert by some 60 musicians from the Harmonie des Chaprais, conducted by Mathieu Guilain.
Admission free. Refreshment bar and foodtrucks on site. Credit cards accepted
