Assault on the ramparts

On the 4th Sunday in July, and for over 30 years now, the cobbled streets of the medieval town of Nozeroy welcome thousands of visitors to take part in the Assaut des Remparts.

From the moment the town gates open, the craftsmen's market, the great medieval banquet and the parade in period costumes punctuate the day, alongside a host of other events, transporting visitors back to the magic of the 15th century...
