Bernard Allison is a modern blues musician born in Chicago in 1965. Son of blues legend Luther Allison, he developed a notable talent for the guitar as a teenager, influenced by his father's rich musical environment. His professional career took off in the '80s, marked by a tour with Koko Taylor. He distinguished himself with a unique style that blended funk, rock and blues, evident on his debut album "The Next Generation" in 1990. His musical career, enriched by numerous albums such as "Funkifino" and "Storms of Life", reflects a constant evolution and an ability to integrate contemporary elements with traditional blues. Following his father's death in 1997, Bernard has endeavored to perpetuate his legacy, while adding his own personal touch. Hailed for his technical and emotional mastery, notably in his 2018 album "Let It Go", and his recent tribute to his father "Luther's Blues" in 2024, Bernard Allison is recognized for his captivating live performances, which celebrate life through the blues.
