Exhibition

A very Beer & Science exhibition...
Louis Pasteur revolutionised beer production with his discoveries. Today, brewing methods have developed and professionals have learned to manage and even control bacteria and yeasts. For professionals, pasteurisation, if it is still used, is no longer a matter of life and death for beer. With the recent craze for fermentations, researchers in archaeology, microbiology and anthropology are questioning traditional beer, while research and development departments are tracking down innovations.

Through the presentation of objects, the houses of Louis Pasteur will be helping to showcase and disseminate the knowledge that is being created in the laboratories of the Bourgogne-Franche-Comté region and elsewhere.

... where artists are invited.
Did you know that brewer's yeast can sing? Revisit your vision of these microscopic beings thanks to the works created by our artists!
