Bleuet: songs of war and peace
What do the glibness of Francis Poulens, the sarcasm of Kurt Weill, the melancholy of Gustav Mahler and the refinement of Claude Debussy and Maurice Ravel have in common? Certainly the war, which marked these artists in their flesh or in their minds. Singers Anthony Lo Papa and Léo Vermot-Desroches team up with pianist Marion Julien to perform a little-known repertoire that is committed, imaginative and full of variety.
Concert by the Cortège d'Orphée.
