Clara Ysé - Océano nox

From the age of four, immersed in a rich cultural environment (she is the daughter of the painter Bruno Dufourmantelle and the psychoanalyst and philosopher Anne Dufourmantelle), Clara was introduced to the violin and then discovered her true vocation for singing. Inspired by the great opera singers and French and Latin American singers, she listened to Maria Callas, Chavela Vargas, Mercedes Sosa, Janis Joplin and Nina Hagen over and over again. Her lyrics have left an indelible mark, carried by her unique voice, sometimes reminiscent of Barbara. In 2024, nominated at the Victoires de la musique awards in the "original song of the year" category for Douce, she set off on a major tour from the Olympia to the Jura, with her four musicians. She is the embodiment of resilience, creativity and a perpetual quest for meaning, offering audiences compositions imbued with authenticity and emotion. A magic that can't be told, but can be experienced. A voice that lifts the sand, crosses the fire, pierces the night.
