Conference - The history of the Tarot

Conference organised by Les Amis du Musée.
The history of tarot begins in the Middle Ages, around the 14th century. Originally, it was a card game that was very popular at the royal courts of Italy and France. The various tarot decks make it possible to play a wide variety of games, such as the Italian tarocchini or the French tarot.
