For this 2025 edition of Courbestival, Ferme Courbet has given carte blanche to FMR Orchestrâ.

The Pôle Courbet's cultural mediation team offered one of the groups of people with special needs welcomed throughout the year the chance to experiment with various techniques for being/becoming an artist. They were able to meet Hélène Combal-Weiss and talk to her about her work and the Nuances végétales exhibition. A sample of the works produced is on display.

How far does music evaporate?
By the Compagnie Le Sensible du Temps and the FMR Orchestrâ

FMR Orchestrâ is an orchestra of six jazz musicians playing the suite "Jusqu'où s'évapore la musique?" composed by Jérôme Lefebvre. It's a journey through the sound of the orchestra and the emo-son it generates, built around Flagey, its place of creation. The name of Courbet provides the seven notes of the piece, "À Courbet", followed by "le petit matin du peintre", reverie in the shade of a tree, "la sieste", and chaos followed by rediscovered serenity, "Bordello con expressividad".
The eponymous album was awarded 4 stars by Jazz Magazine and voted by Citizen Jazz.

FMR Orchestrâ la suite

FMR Orchestrâ la suite offers a series of improvised performances at various locations in and around La Ferme, before performing the repertoire in a sextet in the main hall.

Come and discover or rediscover the Paysages textiles exhibition by artist Hélène Combal-Weiss through a sung stroll, a time for contemplation of the artist's works on display inside and outside the Ferme Courbet.
