This autumn, more than 300 associations, local authorities, schools and socio-cultural structures from 18 regions of Burgundy-Franche-Comté invite you to take part in 200 committed events, and in the regional tour of a show on the theme: "Environment and people's rights".
In a world shaken by climate crises, conflict, inequality and forced displacement, international solidarity is our duty. It is the expression of our shared humanity, of the fraternity that Burgundy-Franche-Comté embodies through its concrete commitments, alongside those who, here and elsewhere, are working towards a fairer common future. In this spirit, our Region has a long tradition of supporting cooperation projects and education for global citizenship. Associations, local authorities, educational establishments, young people on mobility schemes: there are many players in our region who, with conviction, are acting in favour of solidarity and sustainable development. Their energy and creativity are a source of inspiration. With this in mind, we are fully committed to the Festival des Solidarités (Festisol) 2025. This year, a travelling show, "Des pintades et des manguiers", the fruit of collaboration between the Burkinabe company Kala-Kala Théâtre and the Dijon-based company Rock Paper Scissors Théâtre, will bring to the stage the reality of desertification and climate migration. Thanks to the mobilisation of local groups, the academic region and Bourgogne-Franche-Comté International (BFCI), this show will be presented in our eight départements.
Because understanding is already taking action. Because solidarity must be lived, shared and cultivated, the Region will continue to stand by those who build bridges rather than walls.
Enjoy the festival.

Show presentation
The show takes us to the heart of an intergenerational transmission and brings to light the intangible heritage of Sahelian cultures threatened by climate change. The show raises public awareness of the forced displacement of populations as a result of climate change, and of the need to adapt and innovate farming techniques.
