"At a time when external circumstances are urging us to be more serious, I feel it is more essential than ever to take a light-hearted approach and marvel at everyday life. This exhibition presents my recent work: prints, traditional canvases and paintings on fabric. Textile prints of paintings on digital tablets complete this large-format evocation of spring. This reunion is an opportunity to celebrate the return of spring, the creative energy of human beings and nature and, above all, the rebirth of life..." Sophie Guinzbourg

Born in 1956, Sophie Guinzbourg began painting in oils at the age of 12, but didn't have her first exhibition until 1989! Since then, she has made a living from her work, which she has shown at numerous solo exhibitions (in France, Italy, Holland and Belgium) and group exhibitions (in France, Germany, the UK, Poland and South Korea). She has produced cultural posters for music, film and theatre festivals, a series of monumental mosaics in Evry and even a stained glass window for the Musée de la Bière in Saint-Nicolas-de-Port. She has also illustrated three children's books by author Chloé Gallien. As well as watercolour, oil and acrylic painting, engraving and collage, she also enjoys creating images on a digital tablet.
