Besac (Re)Vue exhibition
How does a town change over the course of a century? Would any of our ancestors strolling through the Loop recognise the squares and streets of their childhood? Would they still be able to sit in the shade of the tall trees near the market? Would they still cross the same bridges? How would he react to the sight of the big car parks? What would he think of today's means of transport? Crossing between cars, passing Grande rue on a cargo bike, getting out of the way of buses in the wide pavements in the centre of town - all these new things are likely to surprise and even confuse him...
During a masterclass, the Grain d'Pixel association led a project based on early 20th-century postcards from Claire Mosdier's collection. Louis Mosdier, the publisher, was her great-uncle and the photographer, Marcel Mosdier, her grandfather.
