Urban Well Festival

For its twelfth edition, the festival of art in (and with) the public space is inviting 17 artists to create new works in Besançon, Montbéliard and on the banks of the Doubs.

Taking to the water's edge, exploring the fringes of the car industry, revealing the sounds of the landscape by bike, the artists in this twelfth edition explore urban space, forging links with the people who live there and challenging our senses.

With the support of a number of regional cultural organisations, Bien Urbain is once again staging a festival that brings together a wide range of artistic disciplines: sound creations, ceramics, murals, ongoing performances, installations and lettering.

Once again this year, Bien Urbain will be showcasing original artistic creations, with a host of public events, most of them free and open to all.
