Summer 1984 - With Margaret Thatcher in power, the National Union of Mineworkers votes to strike. On their march through London, a group of gay and lesbian activists decide to raise money to help the miners' families. But the Miners' National Union seemed embarrassed to receive their help. The group of activists was not discouraged. After spotting a mining village deep in Wales, they board a minibus to hand over the money to the workers themselves...
