TAHRIR
Paul Schirck
Louis is not well.
He is French, in his thirties and a musician.
Above all, he has just found some old, unknown letters from his ancestors, colonists in Algeria.
Louis needs to talk about it, to let go of the past, to exorcise it, to question it.
What can you do with your identity, your history, your heritage when it stems from terrifying moments in our shared past?
How can we emancipate ourselves? How do we rise above it? How do we deconstruct ourselves?
For Louis, there is no doubt that this means confronting the actions of his forebears, but also and above all through music.
