What is La Crue?

The association was set up in 2004 by three young rock bands from Arbois. They took over the Sarret de Grozon cellars in Arbois and created the Crue du Rock Festival. The event quickly gained momentum and moved out of the cellars to take over the square at the end of May. After 10 years of service and more than fifteen concerts, the founding members moved away from the region. La Crue went into hibernation, until 2019 when the local kids came back to revive it all.

So what's next?

La Crue organises concerts and cultural events. We've hosted the likes of Lofofora, Marcel et son Orchestre, Black Bomb A, Parabellum, Tagada Jones, 7 Weeks...


Objectives:

- To offer an eclectic artistic programme that appeals to a broad, family-friendly audience
- To enable local artists to perform on stage alongside musicians from other regions/countries
- Reinforce the dynamic and cultural image of the town of Arbois and invite festival-goers to discover it
- To offer local young people the opportunity to get involved in a cultural association project
