Festival de musique du Haut-Jura - Baroque lute and Oriental rhythms
Festival de musique du Haut-Jura - Baroque lute and Oriental rhythms
Sunday 25th May 5pm
Eglise Notre-Dame , Coteaux du Lizon.
On the one hand, Thomas Dunford, a lute player who needs no introduction on the world baroque scene; on the other, Keyvan Chemirani, heir to traditional Iranian knowledge in France. Together, they offer us a rare moment of sharing and encounter between the lute and oriental percussion. A bridge between North and South and 300 years of great music, including Dowland, Bach, Marin Marais and Kapsberger. East and West mingle here, taking us on an unprecedented journey.
Concert followed by a shared meal
