Contemporary Photography Festival - Grain d'Pixel - Brasserie Granvelle

Once again this year, volunteers from the Grain de Pixel association are inviting you to discover contemporary photography through a rich and varied programme. In all, 14 venues in and around Besançon will be hosting unique exhibitions, showcasing the work of artists from a wide range of backgrounds. At the Kursaal, immerse yourself in the unique world of 27 photographers. Each exhibition is an invitation to explore new perspectives, bold visual writing and multiple sensibilities.

At the Brasserie Granvelle, discover the work of Francesco Zanin, who captures the atmosphere of vintage flea markets through instant shots taken with a Polaroid SX-70. His images bring together a past that is often idealised with our contemporary times. We see children questioning their parents or grandparents about objects that seem strange to them, creating a sensitive dialogue between generations.
