Festival de photographie Contemporaine - Grain d'Pixel - Noell Oszvald (guest of honour)
Immerse yourself in the unique world of Noell Oszvald, a Hungarian visual artist born in 1990, who has made black and white her intimate language. Her strikingly sober photographs, stripped of all superfluous colour, reveal a silent strength and a purified beauty.
Using geometric compositions of millimetre precision and rigorously chosen square formats, the artist erases the hierarchy between body and space, giving each element equal importance. The face is hidden, but the emotion emerges with intensity: melancholy, solitude, fragile calm... So many universal feelings that Noell Oszvald manages to crystallise in images of rare intensity.
Close to conceptual photography, his works are reminiscent of the world of Francesca Woodman, but are distinguished by a formal perfection that acts like a protective case for the artist's sensibility. Each shot becomes an implicit self-portrait, a poetic reflection on the self and its relationship to the world.
This exhibition is an invitation to explore an inner world that is both minimalist and profoundly human, where black and white contrasts open up a field of infinite resonance.
