Festival Latino corazón

The 16th edition of the "Latino Corazón" festival will be held in partnership with Les2scenes and the Université Marie et Louis Pasteur, with a promotional stroll through the town on Saturday 22nd with Batu' Caem.

The festival also includes an exhibition at the ASEP neighbourhood centre on the colours of Peru -Arco Iris-, radio broadcasts on Radio BIP, and mainly screenings and meetings with key players in Ibero-American culture at the Petit Kursaal in Besançon:

This year we'll be screening 7 recent or forthcoming Latin American films, including Diego Céspedes's Chilean 'The Mysterious Gaze of the Pink Flamingo'. The Latino Corazón festival also includes a closing show on 29 November, which attracts a passionate audience every year. The day's events are organised in conjunction with associations such as Conviv Tango, Arco Iris and Haute-Saône Mexique, and feature artists of both local and international renown:

Opening act: "Mas que nada Quintet", with their instrumental and vocal Brazilian music

And in the second half: "Medusa Cumbia": an all-female cumbia group from Marseille.
