In Fascist Italy, the project to regenerate the Italian body relied heavily on the artistic and visual dimension. An immersion in the arts, cinema and popular culture of the period will provide an opportunity to reflect on the political, as well as aesthetic, nature of representations of the body and virility in Ventennio Italy.
