Tribute to Julos Beaucarne

Julos Beaucarne, whom we had the pleasure of welcoming to Beaucourt six times, was a great fan of the French-speaking world. He would have been proud to see three Swiss musicians come to perform a Belgian artist in France, in Beaucourt. It's a wonderful idea that Pascal Rinaldi, Alain Nitchaeff and Vincent Zanetti had, to cover the repertoire of Julos, who we miss so much and who left his mark on the history of LA MAISON.

Julos Beaucarne, the fabulous popular poet, left us just three years ago... and he leaves a huge, silent void, not only in his house in Tourinnes-la-Grosse, but also in the hearts of all those he enchanted with his texts, stamped with his formidable humanist touch.

Such was Julos Beaucarne, the pacifist, the utopian, the ecologist, a lucid enlightener of the woes of a world in disarray and the beauties of existence. An unforgettable singer of poetry that is not afraid of words, mischievously blending tenderness and outbursts.
