European Heritage Days at Durnes

As part of the European Heritage Days, two restored paintings of the Way of the Cross will be on display at the church in La Barèche.

These works will give you a better understanding of the painter Claude Antoine Beau (Besançon 1792-Paris 1861), and his importance in the training of Gustave Courbet.
The restoration was financed by the Fondation du Patrimoine and its club of patrons, with the participation of local residents: this free public presentation is a thank-you to all.
