National Architecture Days: visit to a rural guest house
As part of the Journées Nationales de l'Architecture, the MARPA (Maison d'Accueil Rural pour les Personnes Agées - rural home for the elderly) in Maîche is opening its doors, in the presence of François Haton from the Atelier Haton architecture agency, Mrs Ligier, co-manager of the MARPA, and the architecture and landscape officer from the Doubs Horloger Regional Nature Park. This rural home in the heart of Maîche is a place where architecture goes hand in hand with ageing well. Each resident has his or her own home with a kitchen and bathroom, while benefiting from shared communal areas, such as a communal kitchen and laundry, to encourage mutual support and social interaction. The
building, carefully integrated into the urban landscape, plays on light and volume to offer a warm, human-scale living environment that is open to the city.
From 18/10/25 to 18/10/25 of 13:30 to 15:00
Saturday 18 October, from approx. 1.30pm to 3pm
