Kumbia Boruka + Babaliah aka Papa Zombi

For the past 10 years, Kumbia Boruka has been celebrating Cumbia by fusing Afro-Caribbean rhythms with infectious energy. The eight-piece band combines the influences of the Mexican "Kolombia" movement with European energy. They have toured Europe and Latin America, recording two acclaimed albums: "La Vida se Vive" and "El Remedio". After more than 400 concerts worldwide, Kumbia Boruka continue to embody party, dance and good humor, rekindling the joy with their third album, "Santa Suerte", released in November 2023. Babaliah, a passionate vinyl collector, specializes in vintage world music. His alter ego PAPA ZOMBI combines salsa, kizomba, semba, zouk and kompa with modern beats such as house, hiphop, dub, broken beat and kuduro. Whether at a cocktail party or setting the dancefloor alight, Papa Zombi knows how to create an electric atmosphere.
