La Petite Galerie du Déclin, 2 opus

In two scenes and four characters, this show is all about laughing at the end of the world. To begin with, Bradi the sloth and Toto the monkey ask themselves questions. Is there anywhere else to go, outside their box? Every time they try to escape, they end up right back where they started... The misadventure of Crocuta Crocuta, the spotted hyena, and Earthworm is even more disastrous. As the last witnesses to life, they are witnessing the disappearance of the ground beneath their feet. Their survival strategies seem doomed to failure, but what else can they do? In a simplicity that reveals all the work of the puppeteer, the two manipulators lead us into two strange fables. Their bestiary, battered and courageous, offers us a distorting mirror, both terrible and funny. An animal diptych or two stories that bear witness to the struggle of those left behind in the living world.
