The Palladian Villa

We're transported to Italy, without leaving the Jura?

Just a few minutes from Champagnole, the Château de Syam, or "Villa Palladienne", was built in 1818 for Emmanuel Jobez, master of the nearby forges. Bought over twenty years ago by a couple from the Jura, this splendid residence, listed as a Historic Monument and built in the spirit of the Italian villas of the master Andréa Palladio, will also win you over with its period furniture and splendid wooded grounds.

Guided or audio-guided tours of around 1hr30. Tickets available online or on site.

Open Wednesday to Sunday, 2pm to 6pm. Closed Mondays and Tuesdays.
